UNIVET has gone online: the education of future veterinarians continues

The worldwide emergence of the coronavirus has necessitated several preventive measures that affect our University. One of the most effective ways to prevent the coronavirus is to limit the number of social contacts in dense indoor areas, for which reason our University switched to online education. Thanks to our already existing digital tools, we have managed to convert most of our teaching activities to online platforms.

  • As of 16th March, teaching is conducted through our educational management system that has already been the main source of university related information for our students.
  • Our professors recorded their plenary lectures and made them available for students.
  • The elective subjects and practical courses are also available online.
  • Each professor has a weekly consultation lesson available online for students.

As of today, our University has a database of 358 online available course materials which is constantly growing!

The education of future veterinarians has been going on uninterrupted for 233 years, and despite the changed circumstances, the University’s lecturers and staff continue to provide high-quality education.
